I had Vaser Lipo 5 weeks ago on my abdomen and flanks . I can already see a difference.  

I am 33 years old and have a 3 year old daughter and despite working out and eating well I just could not loose my stomach. My mother and sisters have the same problem with their mid section. I am a registered nurse so I interviewed several doctors to see who I would feel comfortable allowing to work on my body.  After talking on the phone with Dr Serrao's nurse Larissa, I decided I would go to their office for a consult. I left the office and after 5 minutes of being in my car I called to set my appointment. I felt very comfortable talking to the doctor and they even brought someone in from the office that had 4 kids and her stomach was flat. Her scars were really small and not very noticeable. I went in the next week to have the procedure done. I was very nervous the night before, I could hardly sleep. The next morning I took the medication that they told me to take and had my husband drive me to the office. The procedure itself was not very painful probably a 3 on a scale of 0-10, 10 being most painful. I was more uncomfortable during the fat removal than any other part of the procedure but even that part was not bad.  After the procedure I rested for about 40minutes until my husband came to pick me up. I did not respond well to the pain medication which is not a surprise for me because I always get nausea when I take pain medication but I only had to take the medication the next day and then I took Tylenol for a couple of days. I felt back to normal after 4 or 5 days.  I went to visit some friends that I grew up with last week and my girlfriends thought I looked great. One of them who did not know I had the procedure told me I looked just like I looked before I had my daughter.   I would definitely recommend the procedure to anyone who has those stubborn areas of fat that they just cannot get rid of even with good habits.  I would also definitely recommend going to someone you feel comfortable with like I did. - Ms. E

I had Vaser Liposelection on 3/10/2009 at Aesthetic Clinique Med Spa with Dr. Serrao.  I previously had liposuction and afterwards had issues with my skin not tightening back and my skin was distorted.  After doing my homework and researching the procedure, I made the decision to go ahead with it.  I have no regrets.  I am the mother of two little children and a full time worker; my schedule is very hectic, so I did not have the luxury to rest a lot.  The truth, I did not rest except for the day of the surgery.  I felt discomfort in the affected areas but the pain was bearable.  I had my inner and outer thighs and love handles done.  I did not take any of the pain medication prescribed to me.  My experience with Vaser Liposelection was very different and much better than my previous experience with regular Liposuction.  The bruises are minimal and the affected parts are healing very well.  I went for my first Lipo massage after the first week and I felt great.  I am in my second week of the procedure and I am extremely satisfied with the results.  The areas are still swollen and I know that those areas will be reducing more and more during the next weeks.  I am wearing the garment as indicated and I am following the doctor instructions.  I want to do everything right to obtain the greatest results.  I will keep you posted as my progress continues.

I wanted to first thank you for giving me my “teenager body” back.  After having four children it was very hard for me to loss the fat that had accumulated in my abdomen area.  I hated to put on a bathing suit due to the rolls that I had.  I am happy to say that because of you I am not only wearing a bathing suit this season but I am wearing a two piece and feel GREAT wearing it!!!

For years I’ve struggled with being overweight.  I’ve gained and lost the same 10 pounds at least a dozen times, but never achieved the kind of measurable results that inspired me to stick with a healthy weight loss program long-term.  After talking my options over with Dr. Serrao I made the decision to have Vaser LipoSelection on my stomach, hips and inner/outer thighs. Vaser Lipo is not a substitute for diet and exercise when you are overweight, but in my case it definitely served as the impetus I needed to get things moving in the right direction.
